New year, New hair

I wanted to drop a new post firstly updating on some new projects that I have been working on and secondly leaving everyone with some amazing recipes that I have recently been modifying. All natural All mine will soon be a brand name with hair products available to everyone.

So the nitty gritty, I finally got around to doing the big chop. My hair was extremely damaged at the ends with all the chemicals that I had been butting in it. Although I had not had a relaxer in over 2 years I had still been guilty of using store bought shampoo's conditioners and moisturizers. The one big thing that I realized in going natural is that if you are claiming your hair to be natural and you are not using natural products, than you are not in fact natural at all but transitioning.
In using detergent filled products you will find temporary results as far as the "healthy look" but in the end these hair products only conduct long term damage to your hair.

My point, using all natural products in your hair will not only promote a healthy hair state but it also promotes natural hair growth. You can be sure that your length will increase after time and less is always better.
Some recipes for beautiful hair can be found below and don't forget to check out the forum and post your results.

Aloe Vera spritzer

  • In a saucepan heat about 2 cups of water-some prefer distilled water but it does not matter.
  • when the water gets to a boil, add in 1/2 cup of aloe vera gel
  • 1/3 cup of olive oil
  • 4 drops of rosemary oil
  • 5 drops of tea tree oil
  • and if you have jojoba oil you can add that in moderation
  • once all of these are in let the mixture hit a boil.
  • You will need to add 1 dropper of burdock and 1 of horsetail.
Turn the pot off and let cool.
This product works best on wet hair but can also be used as a dangler. I noticed after 1 week of using this that my hair became very soft. You can also choose to add more or less of aloe vera gel.

  All natural curling pudding

  • In one bowl you will need to add 2 cups of aloe vera gel
  • 1/3 cup of olive oil
  • essential oils 5 drops of each, rosemary, tea tree, jojoba, and ylang ylang
  • In a separate bowl add 2 cups of coconut oil
  • 2 teaspoons of black castor oil
  • 2 teaspoons of olive oil
You want to mix the coconut oil ingredients with a high speed mixer until it looks like frosting. Then mix in the aloe ingredients, when it is done, it should look like a whipped cream. This should be refrigerated and taken out 1 hour before using.

Don't forget to check the forum and post your results!!! Happy hair care.
