Natural hair and sugar

Many people attest to the extraordinary results of sugary substances and how adding them to daily regiments have been beneficial to their hair. Many claim that honey when mixed with other ingredients result in soft and shiny hair.
Few will research the negative effects of what sugar in doing to the hair in the long run, and I would like to list a few pro's and con's when it comes to sugar and the hair.
One thing that can be proven from sugar and hair products is that sugar can increase the risk of pre-mature hair aging. So in other words you may begin to see gray hair sooner than later.
Sugar in the hair can also strip the amount of vitamin E sources.
Sugar has also been known to effect the amount of protein that stays in the hair.
Now some may think that this does not pertain to honey as a hair regiment however one teaspoon of honey contains 7.08 grams of sugar.
This may not seem like a lot, but over time it may tend to play a wear and tear on the hair.
Sugar may also cause inflamed cells which will tend to cause migraines.
            Some of the pro's noted

Some pro's noted with sugar(honey) and natural hair is that is provides extra shine and promotes soft hair. Out side of those two things, I am unsure of the other benefits of honey and or sugar in the hair but I am also aware that  honey can also be used as a natural, no chemical hair dye when mixed with other natural ingredients.
            Some amazing natural hair essentials.

Some of the more amazing hair essentials, that can be used as daily regiments and aid in hair growth are

  1. Coconut oil-also noted as a super food, this fruit has many uses and works for everything from weight loss, to healthy and manageable hair.
  2. Argon Oil-my personal favorite, aids in strong shiny hair. Also can be used in co-washes and pre-shampoo methods to increase hair strength.
  3. Olive oil- Is used all around the world from everything including bathing, hair regiments, shampoo, conditioners, and much more. Olive oil also works great with flat ironing and getting that sleek look.
  4. Coconut milk-Yes this too is great for self made conditioners. Co wash with this mixed with an essential oil of your choice and you will find that the results are amazing.
